    My Windows 10 Update System Does Not Work


    For about two days now my Windows 10 update setting does not work. I have never had problems ever before with getting updates but now when I go into settings and click on UPDATES and click on CHECK FOR UPDATES, nothing happens. Oh yeah the time changes to the current time almost instantly but the system does not actually search for updates anymore. I have to open my Windows Defender and search for updates there and then they download and install. This has just started and I can't seem to fix it. I tried this

    but it did not find any issues. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Try this, run it as admin, I cooked it up myself, so no guarantee it will help, but it is worth a try.
