Windows 10 manages security updates for Adobe Flash player?

    Hi,

Does Windows 10 now manages all the security updates for Adobe Flash player?
I noticed that on the updates history list it shows Adobe Flash player updates.

    Is this true?

    Thanks

Yeah, it takes care of the flash through windows update, it did that in win 8 too.

Just for Edge and IE, if you have other browsers those are updated separately.

Yeah, sorry, I forgot to mention that I am running IE.
    No other browsers. Only IE.

So in that case as you mentioned already, Win10 manages the security updates for Adobe Flash for IE as well?

    Hi win10freak,

I did not know it was possible to remove Microsoft Edge Browser from Windows 10?
I have been told that "Edge is a core component of Windows 10, and removing it can cause stability issues".
I definitely believe in having more than one browser.

I owned an old Windows XP computer that only had one Browser (Internet Explorer) and one day I.E. stopped working. There is nothing more worthless than a computer without a working Browser. A second Browser could have helped me fix my I.E. problem. I never forgot this. My XP did not have a Disk Drive but I could have used a Flash Drive to install another browser. I did not know that at the time.

Because the XP computer was old I purchased a new Windows 8 computer (upgraded to Windows 10 Home now). I overcompensate for my XP Browser problem. I currently have SIX BROWSERS installed, if one of them fails I WILL HAVE ANOTHER BROWSER THAT WORKS. I do not use them all and only one Browser can be set as DEFAULT.

I have updated Adobe Flash in all of them except I.E. and EDGE, a Windows Update came through on 4/12/2016 that updated Adobe Flash in I.E. and EDGE.
