Wow have I been going round in circles , the partition doesn't seem to want to change and I can't get the top one to 400 and the bottom to 0.00 there seems to be a lot on the top bar of Mini toolbar not just my c and d drives .
I seem to have only 7.98 GB to use , yet there is nothing on the drive .
See my images I hope this makes sense .Click image for larger version.

If this screenshot is your current disk configuration, your system reserved partition is good to go, it's 500MB now. What you will want to do now is click on your C: drive partition. Click move/resize. You should come up with the resize/move window. Move the cursor to the front border of the partition until it shows as a horizontal two-arrows icon. Drag the front border all the way to the left. The top number free space should go to 0. Do the same with the back border of the partition, drag it all the way to the right. The bottom number free space should go to 0. Click apply, you should be all set to try the upgrade again.

There is only one more thing that I can think of to eliminate your hard drive partitioning as the problem. In MiniTool again, highlight the first system partition (501MB) and convert it to FAT32. Also when you try the upgrade make sure you have nothing connected to the computer that does not need to be.

The next step would be to backup your existing hard drive, and do a clean install this way:
Clean Install Windows 10 Directly without having to Upgrade First - Windows 10 Forums

What will wipe everything off your hard drive and you will have to start at square one. That's why we would make a backup of your existing hard drive first - which would require at least a 100GB external hard drive or 128 GB USB flash drive

Just tried to convert the system partition (501MB) and convert it to FAT32 , a box came up this will make you computer unbootable and wouldn't do it .
Looks like I may have to do the other option , but not now , maybe tomorrow or in a few days as we have visitors arriving tomorrow till next Tuesday .
Maybe I should wait until the new card comes and do it then .
