Hehe, I noticed that too but KNEW it would bug topgundcp more than me.
Hey man, every little bit helps.

I'm glad that these seemingly "little" things bug you guys. You'd be surprised as that bugs me in my profession. I'm a designer and not a coder or IT guy. I've just had to wear the hat you guys do enough to keep my shop running. While I've been forced (but I do like it) to learn a significant amount about working under the hood of Windows, my knowledge is far less than all of yours. It's fascinating to watch you guys diagnose and bounce ideas around. I will spend hours trying to get a tiny reflection on some 3d model to move to a certain spot (that 1 out of 1000 people would even notice). But, I'm compelled to do it. If it's not right, well, it's just not right.

So, stay "bugged" about little things. After all, isn't that why we call it "debugging?"

I want to know that too, I have tested it today on my Windows 10 installation in VMware and the result is a corrupted system which I yesterday clean reinstalled. All attempts to fix even the basic corruption problems don't work.
@axe0, are you saying that the Tweaking software corrupted a clean Windows install or that you have a clean install that is corrupted and Tweaking could not fix it either? If it corrupted a clean install than that is a problem and I might think twice about ever running it again.

Apparently I'm having "detachment anxiety" and am unable to leave you guys. I need to do some work but keep checking this thread...lol....

    Tweakings.com software corrupted my installation.
I had a clean installation, installed tweakings.com software and let it run, afterwards all sorts of things changed and I found my installation was corrupted. I'm currently installing Windows 10 again with the option to keep everything to see how that goes.

Ok, not good, but good to know. I'll not run it again unless I'm in dire need.

FYI, here are my logs from it if you want to see what it did to my configuration. You know, maybe I should not post this to the world. I don't know if there is any sensitive data in it that might give someone access to my machine. What do you think? Now I'm laughing at myself because I'm asking a complete stranger his opinion about submitting potentially dangerous data. Maybe I can PM it to you. Can we PM here?

There is nothing personal in the logs :)

A lot has been resetted, some things has been removed/resetted because of possible malware infections
    Code:
10 - Remove Policies Set By Infections
       Start (3/12/2016 11:36:48 PM)
Running Repair Under Current User Account
       Running Repair Under System Account
       Done (3/12/2016 11:36:51 PM)

11 - Repair Start Menu Icons Removed By Infections
       Start (3/12/2016 11:36:51 PM)
       Running Repair Under System Account
       Done (3/12/2016 11:36:52 PM)
and there may be problems with the Windows Store. I don't know what DISM commands has been used but 1 of the 2 is returning error 1392.
    Code:
Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.10586.0

    Image Version: 10.0.10586.0

    [==========================100.0%==========================]

    Error: 1392

The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

Aaaah, that's the OTHER bug, and it sounds like you've caught it! Soooo, stick around and look at other threads as they come up and lend a hand where you can - and keep learning more. It's a contagious bug.

@RobH2 Just to follow up, I am in the W7 VM and Reliability History does indeed exist in that OS, as I thought.

Yes, I was able to find it. It's very handy. I wish I'd known about it earlier.

All well here still, reinstalled Acrobat DC. No errors. Remember it was showing up in a log as problematic. I can't get 'sfc /scannow' to complete successfully. It quits tat 46%. I ran DISM and it quit on me too on the 'Restore' side. I'm going to leave well enough alone for now as I need to get some work out. I'll tackle it later.

I'll will pop in now and then and keep learning from you gurus...
