ok, will attempt BSOD Collector now. Is there documentation on how to do that properly for your diagnosis? I'll Google it but just asking?
Don't leave Cliff and TC .....please....
Simrick I was thinking maybe Rob could d/l Kyhi's recovery tools and put it on a bootable usb stick, incase we need to use one of those apps on it?? What do you think?
Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk
Got a feeling this is going to be a long day....
I'm hanging in. I'm not a novice. I've probably built 100 machines since Windows 95 and have experienced a lot of issues. I have no problem doing very complex or involved fixes nor am I timid about it. I'm not an IT professional and am self-trained so I don't understand the subtleties like you guys do, but I know a tremendous amount more than the average user. So, no need to baby me. I can do anything you come up with. In a way, as frustrating as this is, I find it fascinating.
Just tried to generate sfcdetails.txt to my Safe Mode desktop without success.
So the BSOD collector did not run Rob?
Instructions are here:

Yes, or he probably already has a Macrium rescue media created. But Kyhi's tool is much better. Either one will have the Macrium "fix boot" function in the Macrium software, which may come in handy.
Yes, I could tell you are quite well-versed and comfortable in all things computer! We find it all fascinating as well. And we love a challenge.
Yeah, didn't think that would work in safe mode.
Guys, I will be in and out of here the next couple hours, and then AFK due to a prior commitment which I can not delay. Please continue without me. I will check in as I can. So sorry about this.
