@axe0 what do you read out of this from Event Viewer?

Revo WILL uninstall ANY program if you are running it from your OS and NOT safe mode Rob!! I have the same program....Pro version.
Not sure I understand your point. I have the Pro version also. It scans and finds a lot of leftover files and keys if you do a "forced uninstall" as you know. Are you saying that it's not really removing the program because I ran it in Safe Mode? I used "forced uninstall" for all of the ASUS, Visual Studio and Daemon programs.

I've rebooted now after checking "Boot log" and in two hours I'll be back once I can login. I'll retrieve that log.

    Thanks guys...

That's why I was thinking.....cause he can boot to his Windows OS is to take the time to boot to Rob's OS then remove the programs Axe said could be a problem, Then Update his USB drivers. Before doing anything else......because its going to take Rob maybe 2 hours just to get back into his Windows OS, Run REvo ....and do those updates

ok Rob....but their can be a difference running Revo from safe mode and running it on your OS ....but ....ok.....your choice.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I've seen those kinds a lot but always ignored them (scrolled too fast)
I believe the first is a log that simply says 'some problems with the CPU drivers', the second is the performance state of the CPU frequency.

I have a feeling there could be more going on than we might think. @RobH2, when you're booted please open control panel, click 'system' item, click 'Advanced system settings' at the left side of the screen, click 'advanced' tab, in the part 'Performance' click the button 'settings', click 'advanced' and click 'change' in the part of the virtual memory. Please make a screenshot of the settings of the virtual memory and post it.

Hi everyone, I'm back. Just catching up on all the activity. To recap what I've missed:

    WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)
Hdwre failure or driver problem which makes hdwre appear as failed

    bucket 0x124 PCIe
What other PCIe devices are installed besides Quadro GPU?

    Safe mode works fine.

    Need another Disk Management screenshot.

Remove all items from startup (except Defender; AVG has been uninstalled previously)

Update system specs as much as possible

In 2 of 3 crashes the USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller is returning, in the third it is the Nvidia GPU.

System never "actually" BSODs, yet we have crashes in the data. ( This was my suspicion - the system *is* crashing, but trying to recover - and eventually does, but it takes 2 hours - and Rob never sees an actual BSOD screen!)

    BIOS flashed with 3-8-16 update

MEMTEST+86 will not be needed at this point.

Kyhi's rescue disk is at the ready.

Visual Design Studio is throwing errors (from an old demo?)

Uninstall Daemon Tools, Visual Studio and all ASUS software (ASUS update will not uninstall-*.msi file missing) - done in Safe Mode with Revo

Try pulling kbd out immediately after boot process

Update USB drivers from ASUS website (2 of 3 crashes in 1st 10 seconds are relating to the Intel USB controller driver)

Unable to install USB driver update in Safe Mode.

Enabled Boot logging, went into a normal boot - waiting 2 hour now for results.

Check for firmware update on the SSD

Event Viewer: Collaborative processor power controls on processor 0 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.

Waiting for a screenshot of the settings of the virtual memory once into normal desktop OS

Based on time stamps, it appears we have about 1 hour to go...assuming the boot time is consistent now.

Thanks guys for all your help! :)

Several hours ago, we considered removing the Quadro from the equation and using the integrated graphics - is that a step we want to add in here at some point?

EDIT: There is a way to install drivers using command prompt. Although, now that we are waiting for a boot to normal desktop OS, I guess that won't be needed.

Also, essenbe wanted to know if you have a spare drive, in case we need to try out something he has in mind.

@simrick, according to his system specs, he is running Xeon's and I don't believe they have on board graphics.

@simrick Rob still needs to RUN REVO after he gets to his Desktop to finish removing the rest of the files axe0 wanted removed.
This is what Rob said he had problems removing from running Revo in Safe Mode.
"Uninstalled Daemon Tools and some of the ASUS software. Could not remove ASUS Update in Safe Mode." I am thinking because Rob was in Safe Mode, it couldn't remove those files. Once Rob is on his desktop Revo should not have any problems removing those files. And letting Revo remove any traces in the registry also.
Then Rob should try updating his USB drivers again, from the Desktop.

Good luck with this problem, I am hoping Rob gets his computer booting up fast again!!! Mike. :)
