    No, you'll keep them with the exception that there are a couple of programs which are removed by the upgrade process however you do it. Speccy for example.

hi, every time i install windows 10 version 1511 o.s. build 10586.545 and reboot, i get a INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE error and i have had to do a fresh install of windows 10 (using the repair tools.) so i have no dump files but it seems to happen...
Since 10586.71 has installed I have lost Metro altogether and Cortana will set alarms but not activate/announce them at the given times.
I just download Windows 10 Build 10586 direct from a Microsoft Download site. Installed clean from the ISO. Activated by my Windows 8.1` activation key. Very cool. But what's with the new numbering scheme. Unusually the downloaded ISO name was...
