So why does it even show from the HELP and ABOUT Internet Explorer within IE11?
Good question. Mine says KB3104002 but I don't have it installed separately.

According to the link here it is included in Decembers cumulative update KB3119600 which was replaced by KB3124200 which you (and I) have installed.

So it is installed but can't be uninstall it separately.

It sort of goes back to your original question - why are so few patches installed? The answer is that with the cumulative updates you only get the last one if you do a clean install.

Best approach is to try and fix whatever the problem is as mentioned in the post above.

I understand if it did not get installed.
But my concern is that why does it have the KB3104002 number shown when I go to Help and About Internet Explorer?

Who knows - perhaps they are trying to confuse us

In any case if you click on the link from About Internet Explorerand follow it though the other links above you'll see that the MS15-124 fix (which is called KB3104002 in earlier Windows versions) is installed as part of the cumulative update you've got installed.

I wouldn't worry about IE11 ( KB3104002) I have exact same version as you guys, think most of us do, running Win 10. My IE11 works ok.....no really big issues. If you wanted too, you can always install a 2nd browser like Chrome or FireFox to use or play with. Both run fine with Windows 10. :)
