Win 10 / How will new Service Packs and Major Updates be Delivered?

I installed Win10 Pro from the Media Creation Tool with my valid Product Key and looks like I am running the latest build called Threshold-2. Please can someone verify this below?
    10.0.10586 N/A Build 10586

My question is, whenever Microsoft releases a major update for Win10 like Service Packs or whatever its going to be called, will that be updated through the Windows Update section within my current build of Win10 or will MS be continuously updating the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool?

    Here is a Scenario >>>

Lets say or suppose that MS will release Windows 10.1 in the future (who knows)...
If so, will I have to purchase another copy of a DVD with Windows 10.1 on it or will that also be updated through the Media Creation Tool or through Windows Updates?

So basically, I want to know how these new major updates or Service Pack releases be delivered when running Win10.

    For the time being..................
Insider Preview builds will be released to Insiders through Windows Update.
    The current build is 11082.

    For Windows 10 RTM version.....................
New Windows 10 version will be released via Windows Update and Media Creation Tool and also through Tench Bench.
    The current version is 10586.36

I dont have the Insider Preview build. I installed it using the media creation tool and using my product key.

    My current build is 10586.36
    I double checked.

So all major service packs will be updated through Windows Update and from the Media Creation Tool?

First, MS does not use the term "service packs" any more.
All cumulative updates will be released through Windows Update.

Let's not confused cumulative updates with new Win 10 version upgrade.

If a new Windows 10 version is to be released, it will be released via Windows Update as well as via MCT and Tech Bench. MCT and Tech Bench will provide users the iso file for installation.

Example: When we received our first Windows 10, the version was 10240.
Then later, MS released a new version 10586 which is to be installed through Windows Update. MCT and Tech Bench also provide us with another way to install the new Win 10 version.

Yes. Windows Update will show you that.
Furthermore, if you frequent this forum regularly, you will read the notification as well.

I think it is somewhere at the top of the page.
Only the "Thread starter", which is you in this case, and the moderators have access to the Solved option.
I posted a total of one question and that was 2 months ago. I don't quite remember.
    Sorry.
