This update also shows under Programs and Features, then just click on "installed updates" and it will show up as Installed.....if you look. :)

If Windows 10 remains by far the deal of the year ( 200 US$ gift for the Pro version + taxes), I think that Microsoft want to punish those who complain all the time with this KB file. It didn't show up and I'm pretty sure it won't.

P.S: 10586.17 is fully stable and Win Ten remains the best Operating System on the market.

Do the command and reboot...If you are unsure you have the command correct download the
appropriate CAB installer that is listed in previous posts and then using that browse to KB3122947 CAB File
in \Windows\Software Distribution\Downloads click Install...Then check installed updates again after rebooting.

Yes it is the best and you are right fully stable and one of several things I like I have been able to get rid of IE11.
There are some others but that is the main one.
Edge is so much better and improving all the time.

This is the SAME update we all got on 12-4-15 !!!! That's why most likey its failing for some of us, we already got it installed. Check your installed updates. :)
If it is already installed, then why does it show an error? Doesn't make any sense. Microsofts updates are really becoming a PITA. Errors, slow updates and so on. The quality of Windows code today is a disaster. Hugh updates every other day make the computer run slowly and makes normal work difficult. Microsoft has made this OS a real DoS (Denial of Service) malware. They don't understand that an OS is supposed to support programs to run smoothly, not being a huge blob taking nearly all system resources.
My good how a begin to hate this crappy OS.

That post of mine was in-correct! Thought I'd deleted it actually. This last update was not the same update we got on 12-4-15
    Sorry for my mistake.

That post of mine is now removed.
