    Does anyone's windows update say that everything is up to date, but that the win version .17 is?
    Hi, yes both the desktop (win10 pro on Intel home build) and the laptop (Toshiba C75 with Intel i5) are at .17 build, and the KB3122947 installed OK on both with no issues via the standard method. Maybe the problem depends on which level of the older patch (KB3116908) went in before that one. I know I had that one install at least twice!

    Mine is x64 home. After running this, it still shows as 10586.17 only. However, in updates it shows it is up to date.

    @clusterhead you are welcome

    For any one having problems with the dism command use file explorer to check for the file directory under
    C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\
    which contains this file windows10.0-kb3122947-x64.cab for x64 systems
    or
    the file windows10.0-kb3122947-x86.cab for x86 systems

    now replace the directory you will get into this command (replace the red line directory)

    x64 systems
    dism /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\c4a1b8896ce9fbfea96c1ee6890d52a5\windows10.0-kb3122947-x64.cab

    x86 systems
    dism /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\b0a5da1b24245bc4237166e09bae92da\windows10.0-kb3122947-x86.cab
    Thanks MAXIO For The Link

    I really do not see this update, windows update tells me that my computer is up to date, even for updates manually.

    Someone knows what is that?

    Hi!

    After an upgrade to Windows 10 Version 1511 from an earlier version of Windows 10, a very small number of users may have had their settings for Advertising ID, Background Apps, SmartScreen Filter, and Sync with Devices incorrectly set to the system defaults.
