    Windows Update Build10586.14

Will Windows Update in build 10586.14 Pro&Home give a notification that an update is ready to download/install? I do not want to continually check settings/update&security all the time.

Do I need to enable something to get notifications from Windows Update?

I have "automatic" selected in both my Pro & Home computers.

Just so you know all my computers are running Windows 10 Build 10586.14 - No problems upgrading/updating at all.

I posted in this forum because I assume Windows Update is an App

    It should be automatic.

Hi, the best you can do is in Settings, Windows Update,
    - to schedule to restart - that will (probably) show an indicator when you click Restart (well, it does for me using Classic Shell ) that an update is pending.

It's useful as you're not then interrupted.

    Other updates are silent.
