    Microsoft Update Catalog Does Nothing?

As reported in this thread: Cumulative Update KB3120677 Nov. 24th.

I can never get the Microsoft Update Catalog downloads to work

It just sits there with a blue IE window with the Microsoft Update Catalog logo top left (see attached) which is after I clicked the link for Cumulative Update KB3120677 ...

Hi Nigel, you need to use IE11. You need to turn off all filtering and install an add-on.

Hi there. I see you're in IE11. Did it not ask you to install the add-on?

Not that I'm aware of, what is it called?

[Edit] Found it, it was disabled. Removed and all OK, many thanks.

Hi there. Try turning off your Popup Blocker. The only good info I could find was this: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...ec9f085?page=2

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply. But as said, tried *all* common sense things under the sun. Seems to be a remote issue that eventually passes, but man does it seem to take a long time.
