cannot install patch 3105213 on 10586.0 (clean install of 10586.3)

I had to do a fresh install of 10586.3, which went well until I noticed I had lost the .3. Started researching and found(thanks to Cluster Head) the stand alone update on the Microsoft update catalog. However, when running it, it says not for my system. sigh
In my travels, I also read that the only way to get it back (the .3 Patch) was to download the original 10240 rtm and start over. Please let me down easy. (severe health issues, lol).

Thanks in advance for any help or at least a good joke.

Ps: Great place you got here, have lurked for a long time and many, many of you have helped me immensely.

New cumulative 3105211 this morning, gave me back version 10586.3
