It is a new OS build like an older service pack in a way and not an update and if you clean install ( instead of in place update /upgrade ) it's a fresh new OS ,either way it's a new Windows 10 operating system version aka Windows 10 1511 - 10586.3 th2 that replaced Windows 10 10520 th1 (or whatever you had ) altogether ☻
I've been downloading the new Win 10 update for 45 mins. but it's still at 0%. What's the file size for this update? if anyone here has already updated to version 1511, 10586 i would like to ask how long did it take for the download to finish and the installation process duration. My Internet is at 100-300kbps.

Is your internet slow? The download I believe its on the 4GB arena. And this is going to happen over and over again going forward with Windows with the new way they are updating it.

I was trying to upgrade my Windows 10 build 10240 (RTM) to build 10586 (version 1511) via Windows Update but the Windows Update always gave me this error (see the attached screenshot below). Oddly enough, there was no error code shown...
Under Windows Update, Clicking "Check for Updates" just gives me dots spinning in a circle.
So does "Windows Feedback" short cut.
Problem with build 10586, or, busy servers?
