Windows 10: Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, version 1511, 10586 - Error 0xc1900107
Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, version 1511, 10586 - Error 0xc1900107
So today the big Fall update came out and I wanted to install it so after over 2 hours of my slow internet downloading everything I need and installing it I was given a message that I need to restart my PC to finish everything up. So I did and while restarting it put me into "Updating Windows" screen where at around 18% my PC restarted and gave me the message "Rolling back to your previous version of Windows..." after I got back into my Windows Update I was given a message "Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, version 1511, 10586 - Error 0xc1900107". Anyway to fix this?
Probably a bad download. I would try again. This is from Microsoft, things to do if setup fails. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/i...8-81b1f89473ed . It is from the insider program, but it will apply to your situation too, just disregard the build numbers.
I have Windows 10 Enterprise 10240. But I haven't gotten any update so far. I don't participate in the insider preview. Is that normal?
Enterprise editions do not qualify. Windows 10: You've got questions, I've got answers .
Ok so I've tried updating from .iso and here's what I got: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet
I had no problems updating from the original iso 10586. I updated my PC and my laptop without errors.
I had Enterprise x64 edition so I downloaded such image.
After that I flashed the iso to a flash stick with Rufus. Finally started the setup.exe on the flash stick and let it finish its work.
There are some solutions suggested here from people with a similar problem:
update was removed form the site. Apparently many had problems I made a iso image from media tool & made a dvd & when it restarted after install I got page_fault error blue screen. It booted back to 10240 & I checked today as they took the update off.
I have Insider Preview 10525 installed on a dual boot system with openSUSE. Windows 10 is activated. However even though I'm on the Fast Ring I haven't gotten any updates or new build for quite awhile. I use WSUS to get security updates.
Good morning everyone
I have purchased (i mean got it Free..lol) Windows 10 Multiple Editions from my College's Dreamspark account and I want to know if it is a Full Version of Windows 10 or Upgrade only?
Windows 10 Multiple Editions includes...
There's a good chance that my computer will need major new parts and I'm afraid that it will not activate when fixes. I would like to use the operation system that I already configured to my liking. Can I buy a retail version of Windows 10 and just...
The moment I found that my Processor was a 64 Bit (It says 64 based processor in Systems) ('is that the same thing')
I thought I had screwed up 'Big Time' by putting on a Copy of Windows 7 32 Bit instead of 64 Bit. (But maybe not?)
Have not been able to install W10 10074. Believe I've tried every solution advised. Sony VAIO went right through. HP Pavilion 500-164 DT no go. May have to wait for ISO? Security issue/Network issue? Lost. Any thoughts well appreciated. (Downloads...
