Well, at least I never heard of Office breaking a Windows upgrade.
AVG and Norton are the two antiviruses that need to be uninstalled to proceed with the upgrade.
Or try running Media Creation Tool and upgrading from there.
Today I used media creation tool for upgrade. It took 8 hours to download 100%.Everything went smooth. It checked downloads and updates. Finally It was checking PC then I got following message."Windows 10 setup
Sorry we are having trouble determining if your PC can run windows10.Please close setup & try again"
I wonder how ms can send such message when I am already running windows10. And further"try again" means what ?Again I have to download everything (apprx.4gb)for 8hours?

I'm experiencing the same issues as mentioned in this thread.
Windows Update and Windows Store is unable to update/install anything. My Event Viewer shows a lot of DistributedCOM error 10010 when I try to run Windows Update or Windows Update Standalone Installer.
The Standalone installer also reports error: 0x80080005 after it has run for a while.

I'd really like some help getting Windows Update working again, preferably without having to reinstall the entire OS. (I have tried a repair/upgrade or something like that from the media creating tool, it bumped me up to a newer version, but Windows Update and Store is unfortunately still broken)

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!
