Help reactivating windows after changing motherboard and processor

When I updated my computer to Windows 7 from Windows 10 I used a product key from a physical copy of Windows 11 (yes 11 not 10) to activate Windows 10. I created a flashdrive for the Windows 10 installation following Microsoft's guide. I have now upgraded my Motherboard and Processor but I am unable to re-activate my copy of Windows 10 using my product key using this step by step process:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...EBD=Windows_10

How do I reactivate my copy of window 10 on my new motherboard using my Windows 11 product key?

Current version of Windows 10 is 22H2 (OS Build: 19045.4651)

    Thanks

If you had previously linked your digital rights (license) to a MS account, you would have had a good chance of being able to activate Win 10 after that change based on your previous activation. (Tutorials refer).

There is also a method to ensure your license is in the Retail Channel (if it wasn't already) before making such a change.

You might wish to explore whether you can still activate Win 10 based on your prior digital rights.

See tutorial on Activation Troubleshooter for more from the searchable Tutorials section.

Apply a license code is relatively straightforward.
    Google can help. E.g.

and from the searchable Tutorials section (do feel free to explore that... it's huge..)
