You have 2 disks in your system.
Disk 0 is the treated one and disk 1 is not formated, has no drive letter and can't be used by Windows!
Or is it an external disk connected by USB?
If it's not external and always connected to the system, convert it to GPT!

It is a internal ssd, indeed. But I've never used it and I don't know if it has been unformatted since when I bought this laptop (I bought it new, not second hand). Do you think I could make a good use of it? I'm not an expert about disk drives, but SSDs are faster than HDDs, right?

    run
    diskpart
    sel disk 1
    clean
    convert GPT
    crate partition primary
    format quick fs=ntfs label="Data 2"
    assign letter="E"
    exit

You can use it for the storage of your ISO for example or for downloads
You are clever enough to find it out

Letter E is currently used for the DVD drive. Should I use another letter or will the DVD drive letter change automatically?

    Then take F

On all machines having a DVD, I set the DVD-Letter to (Z:)
    Can be done in Diskmanagement

And keep the last sentence of post #217 in your mind

    Trouble with KB5034441

I've tried the command prompt Pentagon has graciously provided but I am having trouble with laptop. Firstly I get that win re is already disabled. I replaced my partition numbers as outlined but could not extend.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    @Dbbridge
You can't use the Recovery on Partition 1 any more
Your steps are (copy & paste)
    1st part

    diskpart
    sel disk 0
    sel par 4
    shrink minimum=1025
    create partition primary
    format quick fs=ntfs label="Recovery"
    set id=de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac
    gpt attributes=0x8000000000000001
    exit

    2nd part

    diskpart
    sel disk 0
    sel par 1
    set id=ebd0a0a2-b9e5-4433-87c0-68b6b72699c7
    gpt attributes=0x0000000000000000
    exit

    You are ready

    reagentc /enable

    @Dbbridge

Maybe that you lost your WinRE.wim, so that you have to download a new ISO. Use Media Creation Tool (MCT) from MS
In post #175 the attached "WINRE_WIM_COPY.pdf" shows the way how to copy it to C:\Windows\System32.

    Then run

    reagentc /enable

again. It should disappear in (C:) and you are ready for the update.

    reagentc /Info ?
