My Solution To Windows Update Error
On all my machines they only have a small recovery partition so I was greeted with the update error. Normally I would use Aomei Partition Assistant to do partition work but the programme said I would need the paid version to do what I wanted. I tried other free versions of other programmes and got similar messages.
Then I tried another well known programme that has been around for a number of years which was very simple to use by basically expanding the recovery partition by making another partition smaller. This was great and the windows update then installed successfully.
However as the programme I was using was not by Aomei, I wanted to uninstal it as it had served its purpose. I tried to remove it using the normal add/remove programmes menu only to be greeted by a message saying to remove some files approximately 200 manually and I notice these files are not just in the programmes folder but other places too.
Can anyone recommend a good removal programme, preferably freeware that will look for traces thst have been left ?
