Query: What is next after 22H2 for Windows 10

    Title says it all really.

Last major update to Windows 10 was 22H2

I haven't seen anything about this year - 23H3 anyone?

Is there an update along these lines coming and if so, when can we expect it?

If so, what can we expect?

    Cheers,

Expect just maintenance updates to end of life. That said, MS has made a few small changes recently, which has been slightly surprising.

Major feature updates have introduced larger changes. From a marketing perspective, the push is on Win 11.. so what do you think?

Yeah, I'd heard that 22H2 was the last big update and that M$ were focusing on W11 (or maybe even W12?)

    Yes, that's correct.
We'll be on Version 22H2 until Window 10 end of support in October 2025.

Well, I guess the reason why there was no Windows 9 was that 9 is a bad luck number in China or some crap. So knowing that, perhaps Windows 14? Since 13 is considered bad luck here? So much so that you won't see a 13th floor in a building or whatever.

Actually, I think that Microsoft wanted "parity" with Apple, which had released OS X.

Many years ago, I was a messenger boy in a major American city, and most, if not all downtown buildings, did not have a 13th floor.
