And thank you for your reply.

The important thing is the MAJOR build number, not the minor build number. I.e. 19045

An in-place upgrade repair install can (and usually does) take you BACKWARDS in build number within the major build - so you typically need one or more updates when checking updates afterwards.
Oh, that's fine. I'm not worried about the updates, just as long as I can get them! So I should be okay with the ISO then I downloaded from Windows today then?

I'll give this a go tomorrow morning when I'm first up and awake. I appreciate the help; I had searched all over the web but just wasn't sure.

One thing: is this right what I read, that the repair install will remove my fonts? O.o

    The tutorial says:
System Protection will be reset to the default of being turned off. It is recommended to turn on system protection after the repair install has finished to have restore points.
You will lose any custom fonts.
You will lose any customized system icons.
    - so back them up if you don't already have a backup copy.

You should always be prepared to have available anything needed to repeat modifications or tweaks.. in case you have to clean install Win 10 for example.

Note: periodic use of 3rd party disk imaging can help to avoid clean installs.

I appreciate the help, dalchina! :) As we speak, I'm doing a fresh backup of all my stuff just in case; I figure it's about that time of week to do so anyways, so just do it all on an outside drive.

Starting the repair install in just a little bit here...

UPDATE: I got the repair install done, and it didn't even remove my fonts!

Thanks to everyone here, especially dalchina!!! You folks rock!!!

You were lucky! Is Windows update running ok?

Now's a great time to start a new disk imaging sequence with a new base (initial/complete) image, which could be followed by regular incremental or differential backups. That backs up the entire partition/s imaged.

Yeah, windows is running perfect! As soon as it was done, I did a new image for it, and I'll get started on the incremental ones a bit later.

As it is, I had the files and programs backed up just in case I had to do a total reinstall (saved as separate files); I may be a dinosaur, but I didn't get as old as I am taking dumb chances! lol
