    Windows 10 Pro License

    Hello All,
I would like to buy new PC with Windows 10 Pro included.
All new PC came with Windows 11 and downgrade option is available. The thing is that downgrade is go to Win 10 22H2 version.

What i would like to do is to downgrade to Win10 version 1909. Is it possible? Is license will be still valid?

    a. You can download an iso file for any build of Win 10

See the relevant tutorial from the huge searchable Tutorial section.

    b. You would not downgrade as such- you would have to clean install Win 10.

    c. To install Win 10 you would need to create a bootable disk from your 1909 downloaded iso file.

See the relevant tutorial from the huge searchable Tutorial section.

    d. If the manufacturer provides dedicated drivers or utilities that you need you would need to download and install those yourself.

    e. Win 11 activation is valid for Win 10 as well.

Note: 1909 is the build that messed up Windows search. Windows search as it was to build 1903 can be reinstated with 1 click using Winaero Tweaker (a recommended and comprehensive free tweak tool with full explanations.

1909 is no longer supported. Bad plan to revert to it.

If you explain what your objective is within Version 1909 then somebody might be able to suggest an alternative method of achieving your objective without using an out-of-date version.

    Best of luck,

    Hello All,
    Apologise for delayed answer.
The reason why I have to use 1909, because i need to install specific software which was released many years ago and it is compatibile only with older Windows 10 (1909 and older).

If you do NOT already have the ISO, I found this for you > Option Four: Download Older Windows 10

    I hope this helps.

If it was me, I would clone 1909 version to a vitual hard drive and create a dual boot entry to run old software as needed, but use W11 as main OS.

Good idea but not suit to my goal. At the end, the PC with W10 1909 will run constantly. Other systems are not needed.

Thank you for all the ideas and tips.
I will folow steps from dalchina post and see what will happen.

Well, you really should try and seek a better solution as 1909 is not secure and you should as a minimum have 2 OSs, one of which you can use safely on internet. Really, you should be seeking solutions to using dated software.
