Now Have Two KB4023057 Updates That Show "In Progress"

    Imported the WU-Setup log.xml into Event Viewer. KB4023057 does not show up anywhere. Nor does it appear anywhere in Control Panel/Programs and Features (by any name). Could just be one of those never to be understood Windows things.

    It's strange that your 2/2 installation of it is not shown in the Event viewer, Custom view WU - System log incl Apps - see post #5
    [It's not shown in the Event viewer, Custom view WU-Setup log that you've just referred to.]

    The Progs & features list shows it by its other names - see post #5
    [The Progs & features, View installed updates list does not. That's what you have just posted.]

    You can probably already appreciate why I've ended up using multiple Custom views to help me investigate updates.
