    Question about Windows 10 license discontinuation.


    I have 10 home and want to get 10 pro and that "upgrade" in the store costs $99. I'm aware that Windows 11 Pro keys would also work to activate Windows 10 Pro but in order for that I'd need to buy a whole new Windows 11 key which is $100 more. What are my options here?

    The cheapest option may could be to buy an old and partially defect PC with W10 pro lisence and than transfer that key over to your PC....

    A cheaper option would be if you have any old Win 7 Pro or Win 8 Pro keys. Providing they're no longer in use they can be used to upgrade 10 Home to Pro. Even the key from an old Win7 CoA sticker will do.
