How Do I Selectively Install Windows Updates Showing Up In "Windows Update"

This past weekend I updated my two computer with 2 bootable hard drives each that had Win ver. 16.xxx and 17.xxx to Win10 21H1. Things went relatively smoothly. Afterwards I used Lenovo Vantage to update Lenovo stuff and currently Vantage shows my computer is up to date at least as far as Lenovo is concerned.

I currently have Steve Gibson's InControl enabled.

Today Windows Update shows this ready to install:

I don't believe I need Lenovo Ltd. - Firmware - 1.0.0.52 and Lenovo - Monitor - 6.14.16.0 since I believe Lenovo Vantage when it tells me after 6 critical updates and 8 recommended updates installed over the weekend I am up to date.

How do I selectively install the updates that WU is showing me and deselect the ones that I don't want? I do not see an option to untick anything. Just a download button. TIA.

    I use Option #7, here...

Enable or Disable Windows Update Automatic Updates in Windows 10

...it allows me to choose which updates to install.

    Some thoughts:
    1. You can choose not to receive updates for specified hardware/devices - tutorial available.

    2. Consider setting updates to 'Notify' in Group Policy. That way you are notified and I think you can choose which when you respond. (I've never used that to be selective myself).
Make Windows 11/10 notify you before downloading Updates

    3. Any means by which you disable Windows Updates and then use a 3rd party tool to search for and download updates such as the above, or WUmgr or WUMT (both free) allows check box selection of updates found.

As an aside and just for completeness- on general Windows updates: installing any cumulative update installs everything Windows Update has delivered as system file updates to the point of the CU.

Lenovo System Update may be more appropriate:
