    Could Not Complete Update Rolling back help!


    I'm currently having an issue with "2022-10Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5018410)" Every time I attempt to install It fails and rolls back the update. I found a few other posts, but no luck in a fix.
    Things I have Tried

    Chkdsk
    DISM
    SFC /scannow
    Booting in safe mode and deleting the contents of the software distribution
    Waiting over a month for a subsequent update to fix the issue

    I'm out of ideas on what to do next. Does anyone have any advice?

    Hi, simplest option is an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data and most settings

    Takes under a couple of hours.

    You need an iso file of the latest build - MS media creation tool.

    Tutorial available- & short instructions (4 lines) posted here many many times.

Windows keeps trying to update and when it restarts to finish it fails and reverses it. Im not sure which update is causing this..
