    3. I am not going to start installing all the updates again
    Motim,

Nobody has suggested that you do.
The references to the uninstall list were merely about using it as a convenient method of seeing a list of updates.

The list you are looking at within Settings, Updates often loses entries.
    Don't worry about it.
Don't even bother looking at it. It's pretty useless.

If you want to see a list of updates then look at the uninstall list.
If an update is not shown there then just accept that a later update has removed it from the list because it has become uninstallable, overtaken by events.
In a few cases, updates are given their own entry in the Programs & features list itself.

You do not have a problem.

    - my comments are only in respect of your concern the Update History list has shrunk,

That it has should have nothing whatsoever to do with the normal function of your PC.

Don't worry about it. The Update History only ever shows updates that Windows Update installed itself.
The uninstall list shows all currently installed updates and is far more reliable and complete.

The two ways you might have cleared the Windows Update list are given in post #4
Has either of those two things happened?
I'm sorry this is so hard...
    Hello,
Sorry for late responde, had to change internet supplyer.
Well, nothing of those two 'things' happened, the answer is no, not made any in-place upgrade, nor reset updates.
But have some problem with the "Weather" app, this in another thread.
So, thanks for all of you for the answers, and if its not a problem, then I'll chk the '(no) problem solved'
    Thanks again.
