Windows 11 advertisement in Windows 10 Update settings

    Hey,

I was unable to find any information about this and my searchs always ended in other topics.
On a Windows 10 machine, when I go to Update settings, I get a banner, telling me to "prepare for Windows 11".

I wonder, because I have Disabled the "Allow Online Tips" in gpedit.msc
Ad ID is disabled and Telemtry is set to 0 (Enterprise).

Is there any other gpedit.msc setting or regedit to prevent Windows from being loading this Advertisement?
When I X click the banner, it just moves to the right.
    Windows is 19044.1806.

    Here is an attached screenshot:

Hi. Welcome to Windows Ten Forums!

On the Windows Update page you’ll might see a “Stay on Windows 10 for now” link underneath the blue Download and Install button.
Click that, and you’ll stop being nagged all the time to upgrade to Windows 11.

If you don't see that, I would click the little "X" and just ignore it.

Google is your friend but I don't recommend the posted "solutions."

    FWIW.

    Hi,

    thank you for the recommendation.
There is no "stay on Windows 10 for now" button. There is only a "check hardwarerequirements" in the box (or right box) which opens you a browser URL. The Windows 11 advertisement will stay there.
However, since this system won't have the necessary HW requirements, it will stay on Windows 10 till 2025.

Also, my question is how I prevent this advertisement at all and not just ignore it. You could say this for the "Online settings tips" as well, but therefore a gpedit entry exist.
Does a preventing regedit/gpedit entry exist for this Ad?

    @Morku -

I never tried this and don't need to.

Please make a complete, restorable backup, before you proceed!

    Just FYI.

    @FreeBooter
Your video is about preventing any feature update. This banner do not force me to update to Windows 11. It only links me to a Microsoft page.
Also I do want receive the future Featureupdate from Windows 10 22H2 etc.

So you say, all Online Tutorials here are useless, because Microsoft will find a way around them?

Microsoft can enable or disable things on the server side.

Some things can be influenced, some not.

    Just ignore the hint.

So for this Ad there is no known option to prevent?

Before I Go this Ad, I was blocking the DNS settings-win.data.microsoft.com
But regarding to Microsoft, "it should not be blocked": https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...r-organization
However, the description what this DNS request does sounds very unspecific.
So I reproduced on another machine, that this Ad is related to that DNS request. If serving Ads is the only purpose of settings-win.data.microsoft.com, I am disappointed when Microsoft recommend to not block this endpoint.
So I hoped for a less aggressive option build in Windows.

    This worked for me:

Open Regedit and go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\TargetVersionUpgradeExperienceIndicators

Delete or rename the key CO21H2
