    Windows 10 Pro, Ver. 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1706)

    Howdy Folks

    I haven't seen any June updates in "Update & Security", but using WUMT I see I have these 3 in the queue:
    WMSRT KB890830
    2022-06 Cum Update KB5014699
    OEM - HIDClass - 18.16.37.672

    I'm using GP set to "2": "Notify for Download and Install" which has always shown what was available.
    I've also had the Optional Preview update shown all month until this morning ... now gone.

    Two questions:
    1. Thoughts/comments on why I'm not seeing the June updates, and
    2. What is "OEM - HIDClass - 18.16.37.672" [There are plenty of hits on Google, but I can't tell if I need it or not].

    TIA to all who read this and those who reply.

    P.S. I wasn't able to see Preview Post here; has its usage changed in some way?

    Hi, you have Pro, so note that you can choose not to receive preview updates by setting the appropriate Group Policy.

    Thanks ... to be more concise, I'm just interested in these 3 questions:
    1. Thoughts/comments on why I'm not seeing the June updates, and
    2. What is "OEM - HIDClass - 18.16.37.672" [There are plenty of hits on Google, but I can't tell if I need it or not].
    3. I wasn't able to see Preview Post here (on this site); has its usage changed in some way?

    I understand your question- 385 views and no other answers... on the others I was guessing without research so didn't comment.

    Considering
    KB5014699 (14 June 2022)
    Have you looked at the News section here?
    KB5014699 Windows 10 19042.1766, 19043.1766, 19044.1766
    - an out-of band update, so no suprise there- that's not offered via Windows Update.

    KB890830
    Routine Malicious Software Removal Tool

    And for context your current build is:
    KB5013942 Windows 10 19042.1706, 19043.1706, 19044.1706
    May -22

    HID- Human Interface Device - no further comment, sorry.

    @dalchina
    Thanks for looking into this for me.
    When my laptop - same version OS as this desktop - picked up the updates shown by WUMT I wondered if there was an issue with this machine.
    Guessing NBD and wait until end of month, then run the WUMT updates and see my status at that point.
    Cheers

    You're welcome. If Windows Update is working, there should be normally be no need to run WUMT...

    If you see extra results, you now have one way to research them.

    @dalchina
    Thanks, that's a thought. When I'm ready to install updates this month I'll change GP Windows Update back to default setting and see what it downloads for me.

    @3nd
    Thanks for "see this thread of mine , some users mentioned the same (post #10-12)
    annoying notification popup"
    I disabled uBlock Origin for this site and now my preview works.

    Oh you can leave it on 'Notify' - that should work- it's what I've used for years on my PCs.

    Hi All,
    I'm marking this solved as the 2 June updates just arrived in "Update & Security" as usual, just late.

    If anyone has a question about "OEM - HIDClass - 18.16.37.672" the best Google hit I found is here:
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...a-bfd51984e686
    Is related to keyboard or mouse, but strange in why it arrived via WU. I'm going to hide it/not install (for now).

    Thanks to all
