    870EVO Won't update Windows 10

I have an ASRock Motherboard, with AMD Ryzen 7 3700X running at 3.5Ghz. I have 32GB memory, and a Samsung SSD 870 EVO 1TB drive. I mirrored and Disk Drive 1TB to run only on the SSD. Windows 10 updates won't update. When restarting it says please wait, goes to 2% (normally 30% on a disk drive), then restarts and says unable to update, removing update files.
I have tried all kinds of recommendations including Reset_Reregister_Windows_update_components bat file. Nothing works.
Even Samsung Magician & PC Health Check
Anyone find a solution for this?

Hi, the forum very clearly prompted you to specify your full Windows build number (via winver) when you wrote your post (so we don't have to keep asking).

. I mirrored and Disk Drive 1TB to run only on the SSD.
Could you please explain this? Thanks.

To which update or upgrade are you referring? (Windows Update History may help here).
And are you referring to an update or an upgrade failing? - I'm guessing the latter.

How much free space do you have on C: ?
Post a screenshot of your partition layout (thus:

    - rather than using Imgur etc)

When did updates last succeed? (Again, see Update History).

    Start with absolute basic checks:
Check your disk with a 3rd party program e.g. Hard Disk Sentinel.
    If ok, run
    chkdsk c: /scan
    If ok run
    SFC /SCANNOW
    and report if that passes.

    So much for basics.
If upgrading fails, technical diagnosis can be arduous, repetitive, time-consuming and uncertain of success. Only a couple of members have been willing to spend the time required.

I also note you're using a less commonly favoured AV. Sometimes issues have arisen with upgrades because of these.

How are you mirroring the drive?
