    Should I Install KB5007253 After I Already Installed KB5007186?

    Hi all

    Yesterday, I ran Windows Update,
and installed several small updates, and also this Update:
    "2021-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64 (KB5007186)"

All above updates were installed successfully, and I restarted the compuer also.

There is now an Optional update, that appears there, and that is called:
    "2021-11 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64 (KB5007253)"

Note that both have the same name, except that the second one has the word "Preview" added to it.

Should I install the second one (KB5007253)?

The word "Preview" there make me worry a bit,
"Preview" sounds like something that you get now, and you will need to get the full thing later on, again..
Is that right, or the word Preview has a different meaning here?

And BTW, If I already installed KB5007186 (Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1),
why do I need to install another thing that sounds pretty much the same, just with the word "Preview" added?

I hope anyone can clarify this..

BTW, my Windows 10 About screen shows:
    "Windows 10 Home, 21H2"

    Thank you very much

Just wait until tomorrow tuesday (patch day), there should be a "final" version of the preview KB5007253.
It will be the "2021-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64.

    Oh..

    So my suspicion was right!

    OK so I will wait.

    BTW,
why am I offered an Update "for Windows 10 Version 21H1" when Windows About screen already shows 21H2?

The update is offered for various versions like 21H1, 21H2, 20H2, 2004 ...
    Just click this link: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft...px?q=KB5007253
You will see the available versions, I think the version offered for 21H1 and 21H2 (both 645,6MB file size) is the same.
