I don't even know how to fix this.

    I'm running Windows 10 Pro - 2004 OS build 19041.1165 21H1

Since the last update came out, my updates have been awful. I have tried several methods from other threads and have determined that an in-place upgrade is the way to go.

I cannot install the KB5007186 (error 0x80242008) and I'm getting an error 0x80248007 and 0x800f0831 when attempting to update "Feature Update to Windows 10 version 20H2" (I can't seem to find an update number). I don't know why that's attempting to install because it's old, but here we are.

But, I'm running 19041.1165, and I'm wondering if it is okay if I use the 19043 ISO version, or if I should try to find the 19041 version.
I am very new to this, I'm trying my best to fix it. If there is any information that you need, please let me know and I'll do my best to get it to you.
Thank you for your help in advance!

Hi, you can try just doing an in-place upgrade repair install (which keeps all progs and data) which has helped some people with one of those error numbers - tutorial available.. as you rightly say - good research.

And indeed you may as well, given your build number, use the MS media creation tool to get the latest iso file as recent feature updates have been minor.

Or you can hope that @Tekkie Boy can help you (warning, that involves potentially extended technical analysis).

Avast isn't usually an issue here.

Using the latest ISO is more than okay, it's a very good idea.
You can achieve both fixing your computer's problem and updating to the current version.

Download Windows 10 ISO File -TenForumsTutorials

Boot into Windows normally then then run a 'Repair install' [aka 'InPlace upgrade'] procedure directly from the downloaded ISO file.

    Welcome to TenForums.

It's really worth making time to browse through the Tutorial index - there's a shortcut to it at the top of every page.
    - At the foot of the Tutorial index is a shortcut to download it as a spreadsheet.
    - I download a new copy each month.
    - By downloading it as a spreadsheet I can benefit from Excel's excellent filtering capabilities when I search for topics of interest.
    - Tutorials are also listed by category at Tutorials - there's also a shortcut to that at the top of every page.
    - Both tutorial lists are searchable.
    - You can also search for TenForumsTutorials in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com/tutorials after your search term. For example,
    taskbar toolbars site:tenforums.com/tutorials

You can search TenForums using the search box in the top-right corner of all TenForums webpages or using Advanced Search - TenForums
    - You can also search TenForums threads in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com after your search term. For example,
Search for drivers by HardwareID site:tenforums.com
    - [This is what the search box in the top-right corner of TenForums webpages does automatically]
