    I have read that several have download and installed on supposedly not compatible systems and windows 11 works fine. Think I will just stay with windows 10. I want to thank everyone here for all their help, it is really appreciated
    Yes, it is possible (Microsoft have even published some workarounds). But you are on your own if you have problems, there's no support from Microsoft. The risk is that at some time down the line MS may want to use code that won't work on unsupported processors and will stop providing updates to unsupported devices.

    Best to stay with a fully supported Windows 10 if this is you main machine.

    @grefra66

    Download from UUPDUMP and install -- that often works -- it also bypasses the initial "Win 11 compatibility" checks when using MCT etc.

    I have even on an older 8GB RAM laptop both W10 and W11 (2 versions -- beta preview and current), W2K22 Windows server (and Linux) on it -- even though the W10 update screens have the note "This PC can't run W11" !!!!!!
