so I'm helping a buddy with his win10 pro activation issue..and he entered the wrong email, now it wants pins and codes from the wrong email. is there any way around this?
Create a new user account with the correct email address and give it administrator privileges. Then log into the new account.

ended up adding a restart to that sequence of steps..and it still wont run the reactivation, so tomorrow we're gonna reach out to support, explain the situation..he has the installation media and product key.
what are the odds they'll authorize a license transfer?
and it turns out he's got the wrong version installed..pro. his key and disc are home. the computer guy whose assisting with the hardware made a goof but he's going to make it right.
That also solves the "why it wont activate" question...he's got the wrong version installed
yep...we were both operating on the assumption the disc and key were pro versions... guess this makes us rocket scientists ^^
