    Why should any one buy Windows !


    Not going to buy PCs any more.

    Learnt just a few minutes ago that one can freely download any version of Window and buy a product key (current price for Windows 10 & 11) for US$2.00~US$20.00 to activate the Windows.

    Price for a desktop machine with Windows 11 Pro. 64b is about US$2,500.00.

    The similar machine can be obtained by US$1,000.00 more or less if DIY the hardware & buy a product key.

    I assume this outburst is in relation to
    Is Windows genuine if it has "a" product key?
    (Could've kept it in the same thread).

    Bit inconsistent .... in one thread you're worried about piracy, then next (in this thread) you're prepared to buy cheap (blatantly obvious pirated) keys off the internet.
