WU .net 5.0.8 & 5.0.10 repeated install failure

    WU .net 5.0.8 & 5.0.10 repeated install failure


    Windows update keeps trying and failing to install .net 5.0.8 (KB5004698) & .net 5.0.10 (KB5006192).

    I currently have .net 5.0.11 installed. It should not be trying to install these old updates!

    SFC is clear as well as DISM.

    Tried to stop this by renaming Software Distribution folder but regardless this keeps occurring.

    Anyone seen this occurring and how to get rid of this annoying Windows update error.

    Please let me know?
