32 bit to 64 Bit Windows 10

    32 bit to 64 Bit Windows 10


    I have a laptop, belongs to a client, that has an older i3 64 bit processor with 6GB of memory installed.


    Some how the device was loaded with a 32bit OS meaning half of the memory is non addressable. It is Windows 10 21H1,


    If I reload Windows, clean install, with a 64 bit OS does anyone know if it will activate without any intervention?

    Yes, definitely. The digital licence is agnostic as far as 32/64 bits are concerned. All it cares about is that you install the correct edition, Home or Pro.

    This is Home and I knew that restriction, otherwise all my devices would be Pro.
