Yes, that's the weird thing. When I left/right click or double-click on each one of them nothing happens, literally nothing. Like I'm clicking on an inert object

Good find, thanks! I just looked at this registry and I took a careful look at each one of the keys there, but cannot find the Updates.

    It's such a perplexing issue
Try searching the entire registry for one of the deleted KB numbers.

Forgive me asking the 'obvious' - have you cold booted your PC since uninstalling those? Just a thought...

OK! Now, we're getting somewhere! This was a great suggestion thanks!

I used the search function in the registry and looked for: KB5006670

And after searching for a while this is the key that it opened:

    Windows 10 Delete "Deleted" Updates-kb5006670-found.png

Maybe I should tweak the Visibility value? It's currently set to 2, I can set it to 1. Or maybe I should delete everything there entirely?

    Thanks!!

First make a full backup Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect and export the registry key just in case to be safe.

I'm not sure how this works, so got no clue which option to try.

No no this is a valid point! Thanks for the input!

But yeah, I've cold booted my PC a few times since this happened. I've been trying to resolve the issue for over a week now on my own

I'm just curious, what could a cold boot do in situations likes, that a restart cannot?

    Ok great! Thanks for that!

And after I create the backup and export the registry key, should I delete the key highlighted in the screenshot from the registry itself?

    - the difference could be fast startup, if enabled.

    Conversely, try restarting.

Windows 95- Remove Programs- Use the Registry to Remove Items from Install/uninstall List did you look here?

Not sure if it still applies to Windows 10

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...7-050457b38352 and I think this is the same as what I posted earlier - but you didn't find anything there? It's getting late, so I'll check back tomorrow

Yes, that's the same thing that you sent earlier and I already tried it.

    Unfortunately, it didn't work.

I hope you have a restful night. Thanks!
