This is the CPU I have in the Medion Akoya Notebook / laptop

That's the reason why I cant use Windows 11 on Medion Akoya, unless I have the CPU changed to one that is on the list of Intel i3 Core.

You can run Win 11 on your laptop. Check the tutorials on ElevenForum.
    There are workarounds.

    For example...

Create bootable Windows 11 ISO without TPM, Secure Boot and RAM requirements. | Windows 11 Forum

    Hi Ghot,
I have not check the tutorial for workabouts as yet, but did download Windows 11 Pro v22000.65_ 21H2 Pre Non TPM 2.0 Compliant x64 En-US (Pre-activated)

I tried to install it but no luck, hence still Windows 10 Home

Go here and scroll down and download WhyNotWin11.exe and run that program.
Post a screenshot of the results.

    It'll look something like this...

If your only issues are the incompatible CPU or TPM, do this...

Run regedit and navigate to this location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup

Right-click in the right pane, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and enter the following text as the name:
    AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU

Double-click the “AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU” value here, set it to “1”, and click “OK.”

Ok, that's a lot of work.
I would spend about a week, reading topics at ElevenForum.

Things you will need to do, to run Windows 11...

    1. Convert your Windows drive from MBR to GPT
    2. Check your BIOS to see if you can enable UEFI rather than Legacy.
    3. Find out why you have the yellow warning for DirectX + WDDM2

Then, we should be able to deal with the Secure Boot and the TPM and the incompatible CPU.

Here's a Quickie Guide to help you get set up on ElevenForum...

Quickie Eleven Forum Setup Guide for new Members | Windows 11 Forum

Once you get setup on ElevenForum, make a topic like this...

Challenge: Get Win 11 running on my laptop

Then post a screenshot of the WhyNotWin11 result, and list the exact make/model of your laptop.
Also... post a screenshot of Disk Management.

    /edit

Make sure you have a full OS image backup of your Windows 10 installation before you even attempt this.

    Hi Ghot,
I much appreciate the help your providing. Yes, there is a lot of work and it will take me awhile to get around to do the required things so I can get Windows 11 to run on my Medion Akoya Notebook / Laptop. My memory attention span is not as good or sharp as it once was.

In the next day or 2 I'll check to see if the BIOS can be changed to UEFI.
At this stage I don't know if I can change Windows Drive from MBR to GPT, Is there a particular software tool that can do this?

I'll do a google search regarding the yellow warning on DirectX +WDDM2

I'll report back if I find anything about those warnings.
    Thanks

The Windows command prompt can change your Windows drive from MBR to GPT, like so...
Convert Windows 10 from Legacy BIOS to UEFI without Data Loss

BUT, your BIOS has to be able to function in UEFI mode to boot with a GPT disk.
So you don't want to convert until we are sure your BIOS can do that.

You need to take some serious time with all this. This is probably the most complicated I've seen, for trying to run Windows 11.
You can go into your BIOS and take a few pics with a smart phone and post them... then we'll know.

This is why I suggest making the topic on ElevenForum. It's gonna take help from quite a few people to accomplish this... IF it's even possible.

Keep in mind, there's no rush. Windows 10 will be supported till 2025.

There is something you can do right now... post a screenshot of Speccy...

    Hi Ghot,
I'll check about the BIOS sometime tomorrow, time for sleep very soon.
Definetly won't be rushing. I've made an image of the notebook / laptop in case things go pear shaped.
I will be making a post in Windows 11 forum as suggested.

Hope you have great day , catch up again tomorrow.
    Cheers,
    Bondy

If my 1st generation processor can run 11, then your 2nd generation one certainly can.
