    @ Berton,
    I did try that earlier but cant find anything much about this Notebook, plenty of for sale of notebooks but not much in the way of support for drivers etc. I'll try again later.

    I once had an MCE branded Notebook that carried a 4-year warranty, company went under in the 3rd year I had it then I gave it to my son when he started his outfitting business. It was actually made by Compal who makes computers for several OEMs, might be an off-chance they could help.

    Hi Burton.

    I'll be doing that as worth exploring.

    I did manage to find a contact us on Medion site but no guarantee. I also tried calling its Australian agent number, the number rang but seemed like susc. 3 long dial tones and that's it.
