    @trevo
    Re: KB5005463, I saw it added to this month's Cum Update KB5006670 and made note of it.
    FYI: I have updates set in GP to Notify only.
    I verified it with WUMT.
    Then next day I found it gone from Windows Update (surprisingly is still "seen" by WUMT).

    You provided: the link to "KB5005463—PC Health Check Application" which tells me "This update installs the PC Health Check application", making me wonder if it is a replacement for KB4023057 ??
    Read about it here: Microsoft Update Health Tools> Microsoft pushes out KB4023057 yet again to force Windows 10 feature updates
    I learned if KB4023057 was installed it didn't show in Update History, thus could not be uninstalled. *However, I could find "Microsoft Update Health Tools" in the programs list and that could be uninstalled, which I did to prevent any unwanted changes to my settings.

    Today: KB5005463 is gone *and* I don't see "Microsoft Update Health Tools" in my list of programs, so ...?

    Edit: @Ivan-Petrov https://www.tenforums.com/members/ivan-petrov.html
    I just read your post about it being in your start menu. I don't see it in mine as "Microsoft Update Health Tools". Did it have another name in yours?

    I'll watch this post for comments from others.

    TIA to all who read this and those who reply.

    This is a very strange update!
    It seems to be offered to all PCs running W10 ver 2004, as per the link posted by @MikeMecanic, but when it's present, it doesn't appear in the list of Installed Updates on CP or System > Update & Security.
    Also, when you UNINSTALL it from CP >Programs and Features, it doesn't try to reinstall.
    I'm presuming, therefore, that it must set something, somewhere (Registry?) saying it has been installed at some stage.

    @MikeMecanic
    Thanks for the Softpedia article on the PC Health Check App.
    I'm still baffled that WU showed KB5005463 and it was gone the next day (Note: My GP is set for Notify Only), yet WUMT still shows it as available to download. I see no instance of PC Health Check app in CP>Programs/Features nor my Start Menu.
    Question: Do I need to be on 21H2 to trigger the automatic install? I've set max version to 21H1 in GP.
    TIA to all ...

    My devices just queued the download of this update and then when I clicked on "Check for Updates", the PC Health Check update would be unleashed. I suspect that people who don't go to such lengths will have the update installed on the next update day (November 9th)

    One way you can see if there's something queued without clicking "Check for Updates" involves going to windows/softwaredistribution/reportingevents.txt and then just text search for "queued" and if there's something in the last 2 weeks listed, then take your chances with clicking "Check for Updates"

    That is interesting - thanks
    On my PC the file is in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and is called ReportingEvents.LOG (No TXT files to be seen)
    I have extracted a few lines from mine and attached them here because I don't actually know how to interpret what I see there. If you can explain that, I for one would be very grateful as this looks like a useful way of establishing what WU is going to do.

    Correct. It installs an app so it doesn't appear in any list of installed updates. And when you uninstall it a registry setting is added to prevent it ever installing again.
