    There were only 2 of a few others I've mentioned that are severely outdated.

    The BlueScreens weren't that long ago.
    I am amazed that you cannot remember it.


    We could scan the system for malware and viruses with other programs, but I am not a malware expert to assess whether the system is really virus-free.

    @Tekkie Boy, no problem. I had removed the old programs you identified. In top of that, I also removed few others that i am no longer using.

    I did a full back of my c:\ drive (boot drive), and will execute the clean installation today.

    Hope to get the expected results. I will post an update as soon as i can work on the process today.

    Thanks for the Feedback.

    Believe me, sometimes a fresh start is the better way.

    It is a bit of work, but if you regularly create backups in the future and heed the other things that I have written to you, you will be better off in the future.
