Windows 10 update from 1909 to 20H1 stucked at 99%

Thanks Steve. I will double check the logs. What should I look for? I have been looking at WindowsUpdate log, but can't internalize what it means.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...rade/log-files see if setuperr.log has something first. I've never had to look at these logs before, so don't have any specific guidance to offer. I would search for words like "fail" and "error"

I got to the point of Installing ... but after 45 minutes got the following pop-up window: Windows 10 installation failed.

I look at the error event logs. Here is an excerpt of the file (attachment).

Did you look at setuperr.log too?

Yes, but i can't interpret what the issue(s) is/are. Please, let me know if you see any indication - file attached.

Also how much free space do you have on your boot drive? Run "Get-PSDrive c" from powershell to find out.

Hi Steve,

I am running the update once again, after running the dism and sfc commands. This time the scannow found a couple of corrupted files that appeared it fixed. the one thing i noticed different running through windows update (settings) it identified Windows 10 20H2. it is currently running, which i would think might go overnight.

Will post an update tomorrow.
