The biggest question here before you do anything is do you have your retail Product Key?

OK. You still did not answer the question . There is a big difference between having a license and still having the product key that got you the license.

Then if Windows 10 or 11 is not activated on the new hardware, you simply have to enter your product key.

Just add your current product key. "Deregistering" in reality does nothing.

Right !!! and MS will always tolerate up to 5 and loll... Much more concurrent activation before looking into your "case"... I use the windows 7 Retail keys I bought over time to activate Win 10 all the time (only for my personal uses), I never used a MS live account and never joint live account or anything else with them. And finally never got refused to activate my windows. MS honours their original retail keys above everything. They have a price.
