The biggest question here before you do anything is do you have your retail Product Key?

Please see post 1 paragraph 2
HI
I have both License & Product Key i always add them to secure note in my password manager:)
Then if Windows 10 or 11 is not activated on the new hardware, you simply have to enter your product key.
HI
I am adding a new mobo cpu and memory to my current desktop Pc.
So Win 10 will not recognise the new Hardware.
So i still not clear if i deregister or just add my current Product Key
Right !!! and MS will always tolerate up to 5 and loll... Much more concurrent activation before looking into your "case"... I use the windows 7 Retail keys I bought over time to activate Win 10 all the time (only for my personal uses), I never used a MS live account and never joint live account or anything else with them. And finally never got refused to activate my windows. MS honours their original retail keys above everything. They have a price.
