It's not clear how Pinnacle Studio 25 relates to your version number (1)

Suggest you contact Pinnacle and ask it you don't already know.

I've seen references to 14, 15 as well... is your version very old?

Note that some specialist older multimedia software can suffer from latency issues when upgrading to the next Windows build.
Thanks for your response. Nope! This is not in the same category as your regular Pinnacle software. This came packaged with my video capture card and needs to be used with it. So, I believe it is a different animal from the regular Pinnacle stuff you see. As you can see below, I have it right.

My bad - I failed to mention that I had already updated with this patch.

Then remove the latest update and see if that was the cause. If not work backwards from there, one at a time.
    Also try Troubleshoot>audio.
Look in ---dxdiag---in the audio pages for any reports..
Thank you. It seems this is the way forward for me. I will try that.

SOLVED! I installed a newer version of the Pinnacle software, which was very hard to find. It's all good now - works on the latest Windows build. I did not have to mess with any Windows update patches.
