Possible printer issue with KB5005565
Today I installed KB5005565 through WU on my desktop. Successfully installed.
Tonight my wife can't print from her laptop to the printer connected to my desktop. This has been working for years.
Printers work, can transfer files from laptop to desktop and back. All network setting unchanged.
I suspect the update I did today is the problem.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Looking at "Uninstall Updates" in WU there is for today:
- Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5005565)
- Servicing Stack 10.0.19041.1220
Looking at System Restore, there are 3 restore points to go back to, all dated today:
- Windows Modules Installer at 12:23
- Windows Modules Installer at 12:22
- update at 12:21
What's the best way to roll back?
