Sorry folks. The above 2 posts are incorrect.

Today I created the RpcAuthnLevelPrivacyEnabled DWord key again on the Server/Host PC and it does still work as a workaround.
I was able to find and add a printer on the Client PC afterward.

I will bet you dollars to donuts that I misspelled the key the first time.
    Damned Lexdexia.

However, it remains that the KB5007253 update did not restore Point & Print functionality with all security intact. We still need the workaround.
Happily, I don't need to replace the win32spl.dll file to get it to work. Just the Rpc key. So that is a win, I guess.

It did work once I typed it in correctly.
It only needs to be done on the Server/Host computer.
You add it to the Printers folder as a new DWORD, set to 0.

The changes made in the KB5005565 update could be worked around with the RpcAuthnLevelPrivacyEnabled registry key.
The updates after that required the win32spl.dll hack (Installing the older v1237 file to work).

As far as I can tell, this newest update - KB5007253 - does not require the old spooler file (win32spl.dll) but still requires the registry key on the Server/Host PC.

If you can find or add the remote printers and it stops with the error code 0x0000011b then it is the registry key problem.
If you can find the printers and nothing happens when you print then it is the spooler file.

The spooler file (win32spl.dll ) is in C:\Windows\System32\

First you want to check the version of the spooler file: In windows explorer, hover your mouse over the file and an information box will come up. The most current file is version 1387.

Then, be sure you have or can get a copy of the v1237 Spooler file. This is the last known file that worked.

Make a copy of your current spooler file and save it. You might want to put this back after the test.

In the System32 folder you will have to take possession of the win32spl.dll file and give yourself all permissions. You will not be able to replace the file until you've done so.

When you are ready to copy and paste the v1237 file into System32 you will need to Stop the Spooler from running.
Go to Services > find SPOOLER > right click and choose STOP. Leave services window open.

Replace the spooler file in System32, then go back to Services and re-START the Spooler service.

Probably not necessary, but I always Restart the PC afterward.

If printing now works, leave the v1237 file in System32. Save a copy somewhere else on your computer. This file gets updated with most Windows updates. But the KB5007253 update seems to have made this exercise not necessary anymore. We'll see.

If this process did not repair printing then I would replace v1237 with the version you saved.

Standard Disclaimer: Although probably not necessary in this procedure, it is always good advice to back up or image your system before making these kinds of changes. Can't hurt, might help.
