I certainly missed the "offline account" option, so I will try again and also include an ISO on DVD and a copy of the product key that I found, it is different from the key of the original W8 pro that I still have. Would it be a good idea to also include that old W8 disk when the parts are sold?

I'm willing to bet the product key that you found for Windows 10 Pro is VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T. If you are dead set on giving them a DVD or USB flash drive with Windows 10 on it, the product key you would give them with it would be VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T.

No, not all. That is the generic key for 10 Pro. It cannot of itself activate Windows, it will activate only if this PC already has an existing digital licence stored on the MS activation servers.

You know, @Bree, if someone wants to call me a genius, why is there a need to argue?

He called you a genious which presumably is opposite of disengenious?

Ooops. I guess I wasn't genius enough to catch that.
